Ok so here's the rub ! I spent hours and hours looking and the requirements, the documents needed, the time frames, and the legalities of everything. I was so close to doing it all myself and not paying a solicitor to process my partner's visa. WRONG , I am so glad I used the services of Cross Border Legal. There is so much you cannot understand and you really need to have the law stated out point for point by these guys. We had out UKV1 Visa in 9 Days !!! Yes that's right 9 DAYS !Yes we paid for the express visa but this would have not been express if the documentation had been wrong. When we were awaiting a result I knew we had the passport released and awaited the courier to deliver, we were concerned it had been too fast and maybe not good news.
